Post #100: We've Been Hit!

Thanks to some powerful storms rolling through Big D last night, our house got hit by lightning. Luckily nothing major was damaged, but we did lose our automatic garage door, landline phone service, and the sprinkler's rain sensor blew up.

We had the fire department come check the house late last night in case there was any residual damage or fires we couldn't see. Everything else seems to be okay. We're trying to get an electrician out here to give us some estimates on repairs.

We're just thankful that we are all okay and our house (for the most part) was left unscathed.

Such excitement (or not) for my 100th post (go me!).
